Guests arriving at the entrance of a Swiss palace hotel at dusk, valet and bellman

Our expertise

Classification and labels: arrive ready on the day of the assessment.

A white audit conducted under the conditions of the official assessment, then a corrective plan carried through to the final visit.

Stakes

The issues this mission addresses.

A classification is prepared months in advance

The gaps that cost a star or a distinction are corrected four to six months before the assessment, rarely in the days leading up to it.

Criteria that are badly anticipated

Hotel classification, chain labels, international gastronomic frameworks: each one has its eliminatory points, often poorly identified internally.

A matter of reputation and asset value

A lost distinction weighs on attractiveness, average rate and the valuation of the asset. Anticipation remains the only lever for arbitration.

Our approach

Four stages, from scoping to debriefing.

01

Framing the assignment

We identify the target classification or label, the criteria to be assessed and the date of the official visit. Data exchanges begin after a confidentiality agreement (NDA) is signed.

02

Conducting the white audit

We assess the property as during the official visit: guest journey, quality of service and eliminatory criteria.

03

Identifying the gaps

We compare the results against the requirements of the framework. Each gap is linked to a corrective action, prioritised by its impact on the score and the time needed to implement it.

04

Presenting results and tracking corrections

Within 72 hours, we present the conclusions to the executive committee and deliver a corrective plan. A control audit then verifies that the actions have been completed before the official visit.
